Survivorship NOW Vision

In 2011, Dragonheart Vermont expanded its community mission to include Survivorship NOW which provides wellness programs for all cancer survivors in our community. It’s a perfect fit for Dragonheart Vermont, a breast cancer survivor and supporter organization that prides itself on breast cancer survivorship, teamwork, and community-building pursuits. Our goal is to help bridge the gap in support for cancer survivors between treatment and recovery. We do so by offering opportunities for exercise, connection, education, and support.  It is all about cancer survivors helping cancer survivors.

Financial support from the community through our Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival helps us fund Survivorship NOW. Our wellness programs serve as a vital part of the recovery process for cancer survivors in our area. Survivorship NOW strives to help people move past cancer and live the best quality-of-life possible. With more than 20 classes each month, the Center welcomes Vermont cancer survivors of all cancers; males and females; the athletic and those that have never exercised before. Survivorship NOW dedicated to helping to strengthen and empower all cancer survivors in our community.
