Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival, Sunday, August 7, 2011
7:30 am Marshalling of all Breast Cancer Survivor teams.
Coffee and bagels served at Sunrise Rotary Tent.

8:00 am

 Start of Community Team Registration and Check-in.
First heat of Breast Cancer Survivor races begins.
Spirit Award judging begins at marshalling area and continues throughout first heat races.
Photo Booth opens for teams to perform Spirit routines for posting on YouTube!

8:42 am

First heat of Community Team races begins.
9:00 am Silent Auction, Raffles, and DragonMart open.
9:30 am A special guest visits the Festival! He'll be posing for pictures, so bring the kids and bring your camera!

10:00 am

Sambatucada performs Afro-Brazilian drumming outside the Main Stage Tent.

10:20 am

 Sambatucada leads a Conga Line through the Festival grounds while Footworks Studio of Dance dances under the Dragonheart Dragon.  Come join in!

10:45 am

Jazzercise performs in Athletes’ Village.

11:00 am

Vermont Chinese School performs in the Main Stage Tent.

11:15 am

Footworks Studio of Dance performs in Athletes’ Village.

11:18 am

 Second Heat (Challenge Cups) of Community Teams races begins.
Challenge Cup Awards immediately following each Challenge Cup Race.
Lunch available from food vendors at our Food Court.

12:00 noon

 Breast Cancer Survivor Finals.
Maiden Vermont sings under the Main Stage Tent.
ZUMBA® fitness performs in Athletes’ Village.

12:20 pm

S.D. Ireland Sisters at Heart Championship Cup Race.

12:30 pm

 Breast Cancer Survivor Flower Ceremony and Vocal Tribute by Maiden Vermont.

 Continuation of Community Team Challenge Cup Heats.
Breast Cancer Survivor Awards Ceremony.
TOYO, Traditional Japanese Music Group, performs in the Main Stage Tent.

 Burlington Taiko Drummers perform on the Green.
Silent Auction Close-Out.

 Spirit Award winners posted. Winners pick up awards at Awards Tent.

Vermont Artist Raffle Drawing.
Silent Auction Second Close-Out. Remaining items go to second highest bidder.
2:30 pm Team Jazzercise performs in Athletes' Village.
2:40 pm Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater performs on the Green,
2:45 pm Silent Auction Clearance. Final pick up of Spirit Awards at Awards Tent.
3:15 pm Funkwagon performs in Athletes' Village.
3:30 pm Third Heat for the Final Five Championship Races begins.
