As a breast cancer survivor and supporter team first and foremost, Dragonheart Vermont strives to send out an inspirational message encouraging all cancer survivors to live life to the fullest after a cancer diagnosis. Dragonheart’s 150-member team of breast cancer survivors and supporters paddle together for life-affirming exercise and camaraderie.

Paddling as a team is just part of the story. The core of Dragonheart’s mission is to give back to the community and the Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival is the team’s special way to introduce people to the sport of Dragon Boating and help others in our community diagnosed with cancer. This year, our goal is to raise $250,000 for our own team and our Survivorship Network on Wellness cancer wellness programs aimed to strengthen and empower cancer survivors. Join us for lots of fun and the best cause of all −spreading support and joy to our local cancer survivors as they fight the toughest battle imaginable.
